Did you know that Magic Kingdom has a barber shop? Tucked on the corner of Main Street U.S.A. near the Emporium, Harmony Barber Shop has been giving guests haircuts since the park opened in 1971. Look for the classic striped barber pole out front and you've found it.

The shop has a charming old-fashioned feel, with vintage barber chairs and decor that fits right in with the rest of Main Street's turn-of-the-century aesthetic. All stylists are state-licensed cosmetologists, so you're getting a real haircut, not a gimmick. Services include adult haircuts, beard trims, and kids' cuts with the full barber shop experience for ages 9 and under.

The most popular option is the "My First Haircut" package, priced at $28 at the time of writing. Little ones get their first trim in a full barber chair along with a commemorative Mickey ears hat. Parents go home with a keepsake lock of hair and an official milestone certificate. It's one of those low-key Disney moments that becomes a bigger deal than expected.

Reservations are recommended through the My Disney Experience app, though limited walk-ins may be available. One heads up: gratuity is cash only, so come prepared.

If you're looking for a quiet break from the park chaos, this is a pretty good one.
